The Newest Missionaries

These are the two group of missionaries that arrived this week. My parents are so busy welcoming Elders and are loving it! There will be 3 more groups of Elders coming at the ends of this week.




These missionaries returned home Monday.

Welcome Elders

I spoke with my parents tonight and they were happy to receive 2 more wonderful missionaries. These were two of the missionaries that have also been patiently waiting for their visas since September. Now they will be able to celebrate Christmas in Mexico!!

Finally, Welcome Elders!!

I was reading my dads email today and the spirit touched my heart as he told his feelings of seeing these 5 missionaries that were all between 6'1 and 6'4 coming out of customs with fire in their eyes ready to teach the gospel. They have been waiting since September for their visas and they finally came! What a blessing we have in our lives...what a blessing to the people of Mexico to have these wonderful missionaries ready to serve the Lord.

Zone Leader Training/ Thanksgiving Dinner

My sister sent me a few more pictures of their trip. While they were there they were able to go to the Zone Leader Training. After the training, my mom had prepared a Thanksgiving Dinner for those that had attended. My dad loves to smoke meat and is really good at it! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving...I'm headed back to Payson to have Thanksgiving with all my siblings. It will be sad not having our parents there, but I am happy we will still be able to get together as a family and celebrate :)

Mexico City Temple

Two of my sisters had the opportunity to go visit my parents this week. I'm a little jealous, but look forward to my trip in April :) When my parents were set apart by Elder Holland we were instructed to visit our parents as often as possible, but not as tourists. He told us we needed to get down there, roll up our sleeves and go to work! My sisters told me that their favorite part of their visit was getting to know the missionaries and doing missionary work. These pictures are of their visit to the Mexico City Temple. The temple isn't in The Nothwest mission (It's actually in the Mexico City East Mission), but the missionaries have several opportunities to visit the temple during their mission. This picture is of my parents, sisters, and the Halostoc Zone with 16 of their investigators.

Elder Bischoff

Elder Bischoff was the first Elder to get his visa and arrive in Mexico. My parents were so excited to see him and he got a lot of attention since he arrived by himself. I was going to include him in the last post with the other American Missionaries, but didn't get his picture until this morning :)
