Explanation on Sending Packages and Letters

Nothing has changed with sending letters or packages, but some of the mothers of new missionaries are a bit confused (and rightly so :) so I thought it might be good to put a post to help explain.

If you would like to send a letter:

Your Son/daughter's Name
Apartado Postal 118-184
Gustavo A. Madero
Mexico, D.F. C.P 07051

If you want to send a package:

You write this exactly, including Elder Jose Luis Escobar Maya (They don't like more than one name coming to the same PO Box when dealing with packages).

Elder Jose Luis Escobar Maya
Apartado Postal 118-184
Gustavo A. Madero
Mexico, D.F. C.P 07051

To make sure your son/daughter gets their package just make sure their last name is in the return address (or next to the return address).

If there are any questions, feel free to ask :)

Changes

The first picture is of the Elders that went home this last change. The rest of the pictures are of the new Elders. When they arrive they are fed a meal, receive 3 hours of training, have an interview and are sent with their new companions to their first area.

September 2011

These are pictures of some of the Elders dining with Elder Morales of the 70 when he visited the mission. The other pictures are of a baptism in the Linda Vista Zone during the month of September.

Welcome

Sorry that it has taken me a few weeks to get an update. We just moved and it has been a bit crazy around my house. These are the newest missionaries in the mission.

Zone Leaving and Dinner at the Mission Home

July 1st a new mission was created in Mexico City and the Ecatepec Zone was moved from the Northwest mission into the new mission. My parents were so sad to lose these elders to the other mission. When my dad went to say goodbye, the zone leaders had bought matching ties for everyone including my dad (the first picture). The rest of the pictures are of the Industrial zone who were invited to a turkey dinner at the mission home.
