July Group Goes Home And Two New Missionaries

This was a big month for the misssion. The first group of missionaries that were originally called to the Mexico City Northwest mission went home this past week, marking two years since this mission was established. This is by far the biggest group of returning missionaries. My parents were also able to welcome 2 new missionaries :) The first picture is the new missionaries and the rest of the pictures are of the returning missionaries. I still have a lot of photos I would like to upload from the talent show and from my visit last month. Hopefully I will be caught up soon!

Sorry...I've Been Moving

I wanted to get these pictures up before I moved, but it didn't happen. Sorry for the delay. The first picture is of a sisters dinner that my mom did for all the sisters serving in the mission. The second picture is my family making the Sloppy Joes for the mission party. The rest of the pictures were taken right before the mission wide talent show. I will try to add more pictures in the next couple days. I have a lot :)

My Trip To Mexico

I just got back from a fun visit to see my parents. I was able to go down with my 3 sisters and we had a blast. I took a lot of pictures and thought I would put some on the blog for all to enjoy. I think I will do several posts. The first day we were there was the mission dodge ball tournament. That was so fun! Here are a few pictures.

Crazy Month

Sorry, it's been a while since I have been able to do a post. My mom had carpal tunnel surgery on both her wrists a few weeks ago and it has slowed the flow of emails and pictures from my parents. I am happy to report that she is doing much better and the pain is already less in just a few weeks. It must have been all those potatoes she peeled through the years :) Here are a few things that have happened in the past 6 weeks.

My brother and his wife were able to go visit my parents a few days after my moms surgery, which was a big help to both my mom and dad.

As most of you probably know, the missionaries have had a fun time with a few sports tournaments among the zones. This is a picture of one of the soccer games. Next month...dodge ball :)

Coming, Going, Visitors and Earthquake

I have been meaning to get these pictures up for a week now, but the flu hit my house and that has kept me very busy :) Here are some new pictures from the mission.

3- My sister and her husband and children went and visited my parents a few weeks ago. It has been a busy time with visitors at the mission home. I think everyone made their plans to visit at my parents half way mark.
4 & 5- These are a couple of pictures that my dad took of the damage inside the Mission Office from the earthquake. I'm sure you were all as relieved as I was to hear that there wasn't any major damage or injuries.

Visitors

This past month there have been several visitors at the mission home. My sister visited with her husband and 4 of her 7 children at the end of January. My Grandma and Grandpa (my mom's parents) and my aunt and uncle visited last week. My parents have really enjoyed having family at the mission home.
